Not only is Melanie selling real estate on the Outer Banks but she is investing in it as well. She is very dedicated and passionate about her business... her priority is to provide exceptional service to each of her clients throughout the entire process of buying and selling real estate.
After graduating from West Virginia University, Melanie moved to the Outer Banks in 1993. Prior to her real estate career, she operated a group of retail stores that spanned the length of the Outer Banks from Corolla to Avon so she knows the Outer Banks real estate market from top to bottom! She traveled to many exotic places as a buyer for the stores, including Thailand, Indonesia, and India, but always loved coming home to her favorite place, the Outer Banks!
Real estate was a natural choice for Melanie and in 2002 she transitioned from retail into new home sales and lot/construction packages for The Ambrosia Group in Corolla.
From 2004 through January 2009, Melanie was at RE/MAX Ocean Realty as a Broker Associate where she was always a top producer in general real estate as well as new home site sales. Most recently in February 2009, Melanie joined the Brindley Beach team!
Melanie takes pride in her community and has played an active role in non-profit groups such as Kids In Dare Support (K.I.D.S.) & Friends of Youth.
