Just north of Corolla Village, The Currituck Lighthouse, and The Currituck Heritage Park you will find this quiet community that is part of a natural preserve. Ocean Hill is an Oceanside community with rolling dunes, large lots and wide beaches. Some homes in this community may still be on private wells and septic systems. Many of the homes offer private pools and intriguing architecture, and all have access to the beautiful wide sandy beaches.
- Corolla Light
Corolla Light is a beautiful resort community made up of Oceanside and Soundside vacation homes along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The resort also features Oceanside townhouse style Villas and the town homes and condos of Mirage. Corolla Light offers great amenities and activities for everyone including the Indoor pool and fitness center, 4 outdoor life guarded pools, a private security patrol, and Trolley service within the community during the summer months. The Oceanside features a mile of Oceanfront beach, Oceanfront dining at The Oceanfront Grille, a snack hut, three Oceanfront swimming pools (one shallow pool for kids to enjoy), outdoor bathrooms, sundeck with lounge chairs, walkway to the beach, an Oceanfront gazebo, and beach chair and umbrella rentals at the beach. - Monteray Shores
The private resort of Monteray Shores is neatly carved along the waters of the Currituck Sound and offers a full package of amenities and an exceptional selection of homes. Monteray Shores offers easy sound access from the Soundfront pier, gazebo and boat-launch ramp for small boats. The community clubhouse is a great gathering place for all and even offers planned activities for children during the summer months. Buck Island is located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina between Whalehead Beach and Crown Point and gives the feeling of old Southern tradition. Ocean Sands contains sections A-Q with wide, open spaces between many of the lettered sections of the subdivision allowing even the more distant Corolla beach house rentals to enjoy an ocean view. Community water is now available for homes in sections A, B, and C but some remain on private wells while all other sections are on municipal water and sewer. Ocean Sands amenities also include a seven acre stocked fresh water fishing lake abundant with water fowl, tennis courts in sections D, F, and H, quiet roads for walking or bike riding, and the community is nearby shopping, restaurants, golf, and water sports.

Ocean Lakes is located in section O of Ocean Sands; a community within a community, with lovely Oceanside and Oceanfront lots dispersed over 600 acres. Ocean Lakes offers a community pool for your family's enjoyment and tennis courts. - Pine Island
Pine Island is an extraordinary community of luxurious homes and beach house rentals along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Community of Pine Island offers three and a half miles of coastline bordered to the East by the Atlantic Ocean and to the west by 5,000 acres of National Audubon Society Pine Island Sanctuary. Pine Island is known for its luxuriously large beautiful homes, amazing beach house rentals, wide sandy beaches and gorgeous views! Pine Island is divided into two sections, Pine Island North and Pine Island South, with a mile of oceanfront land in between. There are two community pools. The Oceanfront pool sits between Pine Island North and South and offers plenty of parking for everyone! The second community pool is in the heart of Pine Island North and is very accessible to all staying in Pine Island North. Pine Island offers the use of a private landing strip with prior permission (pick-ups and drop-offs only).
